Cristiano Ronaldo was born on Feb 5,1985, in Funchal, Madeira, Portugal. His full name is Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro and the nickname is CR -7. He is the youngest child of Maria Dolores dos Santos Aveiro and Jose Dinis Aveiro. His father was a municipal gardener and kit man.

When he was 8, he began to play for Andorinha, where his father worked as a kit man. Even in the early days, his talent was apparent and his work ethic splendid.
